This is the platform of Kintetsu Nara Station.
Nara Park, Great Buddha, Kofukuji etc. are on the east from here.
Perhaps, I think that people who come here for the first time do not know which is the east.
Kintetsu Nara Station is the final stop.
The train is running east to Kintetsu Nara station.
The platform of Kintetsu Nara Station is the second basement floor.
The ticket gate is the first basement above it.
There is a convenience store on the basement floor.
There are ticket gates on the east side and the west side.
When you leave the east side ticket gate, there is a direction board saying to go to Nara Park, Todaiji Temple, Kasuga Taisha Shrine, Kofukuji Temple, Nara National Museum for exit 3.
There is also a big map on the wall behind the stairs.
And, in front of the map, there is a free map to take home.
Along with Japanese, there are maps of English, Chinese and Korean.
Also, opposite the map, there are a local mascot and deer imitations so that you can take a commemorative photo.
We have several local mascots in Nara.
This is one of them, and called "Sento-kun."
There is an tourist information center as it goes up to the first floor.
