The tourist spot that I will introduce today is Araike-enchi garden and Ukimido hall in Nara. They are near the approach of Kasuga-Taisea Shrine.
[ Araike-enchi park in Nara]
First I will introduce the park called Araike-enchi.
Going east about 1500 meters on Sanjo-dori street from JR Nara station, there is Ichino-torii gate of Kasuga Taisha Shrine.
There is a road running north-south in front of the gate.
This road is a national highway and many cars are running so it is dangerous to keep the signal and not cross it.
Going this road south a little, there is a pond called Araike.
The road just crosses the middle of Araike pond.
There is a story saying that Kanpaku(Chancellor) Toyotomi Hideyoshi made the origin of this pond about 400 years ago, but it is not certain.
The shape of this pond is made 100 years ago.
There is a road to the east in front of Araike pond, and after 150 meters it will reach the entrance of the Araike-enchi park.
The park is on the east side of the pond.
The park is close to Kofukuji temple and Kasuga Taisha shrine, but not so many people come.
It is a park where you can spend calmly.
It was past the time of full bloom, but the cherry blossoms were still blooming still.
Under the other cherry blossoms there were people who had cherry-blossom viewing party.
There are benches so that you can see the pond.
Some people were sitting on the benches.
In the southwest of the pond there is the Nara hotel called Nishino-Geihinkan(the guest house of western Japan).
For a long time the Nara Hotel was a hotel that the state guest and the royal family stayed.
On the south side of the park there is a river from Araike Pond.
Deer were in the shade on the north side of the park.
[ Ukimido hall in Nara ]
Next to the east of the park is a pond called Sagiike.
And around the center of the pond there is a hall called Ukimido.
You can also row a boat at the pond.
You can take a very beautiful picture when you shoot the hall with autumn leaves, cherry blossoms, fresh green, snow scenery, sunsets, and reflection in the water.
There were people shooting a memorial of the marriage in the northwest of the pond.
[ Approximate Latitude and Longitude of tourist spots etc. ]
In Google Maps, you can find the location of tourist spots with latitude and longitude.
The following latitudes and longitudes are not officially announced, they are what I found out.
