The tourist spot that I will introduce today is Kofukuji temple in Nara.
Yesterday, April 17th, a religious ceremony called Hojoe was held there.
Preparation was done early in the morning on this day.
The place is in front of Hitokoto Kannondo hall beside Nan'endo hall of Kofukuji.
There are plenty of pails.
They are pails for use at the ceremony.
These pictures were taken around 8:30 in the morning.
The ceremony is held from 1 pm on April 17 every year.
I also went to see the state during the lunch break.
The goldfish which were not found in the morning were also put in the bag.
There was also a guide signboard suspended from the wisteria trellis.
The outline of this event is as follows.
First Buddhist priest read the sutra in Hitokoto Kannondo hall.
Next people will move to the Sarusawa pond with pails.
At the end they will release the goldfish in their pail at the Sarusawa pond.
