The tourist spot that I will introduce today is the ruin of the Nandaimon gate of Kofuku-ji temple in Nara.
There are ordinary gates in the temple.
Of course there was a gate in Kofuku-ji temple.
It was around 1300 years ago when the original Nandaimon gate was built in Kofukuji.
It is said that the size of the gate was about 23 meters east-west and about nine meters north and south.
The gate was burned down six times and rebuilt.
However, it was not rebuilt when it was burned down in the seventh time about 300 years ago.
The part surrounded by the square on the front is where it will be the stage for the Takigino every year.
[ Approximate Latitude and Longitude of tourist spots etc. ]
